The Northern Allstar Late Model Series at Kamp Motor Speedway April 26th

Saturday April 26th the Northern Allstar Late Model Series will be in the house at Kamp Motor Speedway. The NALMS race will pay $2000 to win. The UMP Modifieds, UMP Sportsman and the UMP Street Stocks will also be here to round out the evening of racing. Pit gate opens at 3:00, grandstands open at 5:00, hotlaps are at 6:00 and racing at 7:00 all times are EDT. There will be no price change for this race. You can find ticket prices by clicking on the Tickets link on the home page of the website.

Bad Weather Cancels Opening Night (April 12th) at Kamp Motor Speedway

The races scheduled on April 12th at Kamp Motor Speedway have been canceled. The National Weather Service has forecast rain and possible snow with the high in the mid forties and the low in the mid twenties. This is definitely not a racing forecast.

We will see you all next week April 19th for the Lane/Holley Challenge Night.

Great Turnout for the Kamp Motor Speedway Practice

We had a great turnout for the Kamp Motor Speedway practice that was held on Saturday April 5th. Fifty plus cars showed up to take the track and check out their new cars. We had Late Models, Modifieds, Sportsman (several Sportsman), Street Stocks, Modlites, Crate Late Models and a 4-Cylinder. The weather was great with sunny skies and warm temperatures.

The link can be found under the links of this website. TCP Photos will be doing our track photography this year.

We would also like to congratulate Jaret and Dani Lueck on the birth of their new son. Cale Graham Leuck was born at 11:10 a.m. today April 8th. Cale weighed in at 7 pounds and 15 ounces and was 20 and 1/4 inches long. Both mother and baby are doing fine. Cale will be welcomed home by big brother Zeke. Congratulations to the whole Leuck family on their new family addition.

Practice is still a go for Kamp Motor Speedway April 5th

The practice scheduled for April 5th at Kamp Motor Speedway is still a go. The pit gate opens at 12:00 (noon) EDT and practice will go from 3:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pit admission will be $15 for practice. Grandstands are open to the public at no charge. Kamp Motor Speedway and UMP membership forms will be available at the pit office on Saturday.

A New Adventure for the Kamp’s

Here it is April 1st and the weather is a beautiful 82 degrees, the smell of daffodills and dogwood trees is permeating the air. The Cherry Blossoms are blooming in Washington D.C. and I think I can even hear a mushroom or two popping through the ground. Bob and I are ready for our new adventures for the next 6 months. We have decided to forego circle track racing and we have purchased the dragstrip on the sunny island of Aruba. We will be drag racing on the weekend and parasailing through the week with our new boat. Please feel free to visit and join us for a weekend of drag racing.

Since this is my brothers birthday I know it is April Fool’s Day and this post is my April Fool’s prank on all of you for the year. Happy Birthday George and April Fool’s to the rest of the viewing area.
