Kamp Motor Speedway 9/27/08 Results

Scott Cook of Rensselaer, Indiana, won this week’s 50/50 drawing worth $343.  Scott was holding ticket number 033481.  Congratulations Scott on your KMS win.

Hunter Ekola 2 of Oxford, Indiana won the “Kids Trophy” drawing.  Hunter chose to accept his trophy with the Sportsman feature winner #0 Kevin Gummere.  Congratulations to both Hunter and Kevin on their KMS wins.

Don Slaven of Fowler, Indiana, won the “Kamp Luck 5” drawing worth $100.  Don was holding ticket stub number 004924 drawn out by Sportsman driver #0 Kevin Gummere.  Congratulations to Don and Kevin on their KMS wins.

I would like to congratulate #14 Late Model driver Kerry Mathew and his wife on the birth of their daughter. Courtney Nicole Mathew arrived on Friday September 26th weighing in at 7 lbs 10 oz and was 20 inches long. Courtney is welcomed home by big brother Corbin. Congratulations to the whole Mathew’s family on her arrival.

The Annual “Fall Classic” @ Kamp Motor Speedway September 27

Kamp Motor Speedway will be having its annual Fall Classic on Saturday, September 27th. All regular classes will be having a bigger purse. The UMP Late Models will be a NALMS race, paying $2000 to win. The UMP Modifieds will be racing for $1000 to win. The UMP Sportsman will be racing for $800 to win. Thanks to the many sponsors, the UMP Street Stocks will be having a $1000 to win, 100 lap Street Stock Shootout. The Modified Lites will also be in attendance. All payouts are based on a 20 car starting field. UMP National points will also be awarded at Kamp Motor Speedway on Saturday..

*Note: This is the last race of the 2008-racing season for Kamp Motor Speedway.

Grandstands - $15

Kids 11-15 - $10

Kids 10 & Under are free with a paying adult

Hotlaps are at 6:00, Qualifying at 6:15 and Racing at 7:00 (EDT)

Patriot Festival Parade

The Patriot Festival Parade committee in West Lebanon, IN is looking for Kamp Motor Speedway drivers to participate in the parade on Sunday September 28th. If you are interested you can contact me at 765-742-8494 or Amy Matillo at 765-427-3102. They are looking for about 14 drivers.

6th Annual Kamp 50 to be run Saturday September 20th

Kamp Motor Speedway will be having the 6th annual UMP Late Model Kamp 50 for $5000 to win $250 to start Saturday, September 20th . The UMP Modifieds, UMP Sportsman, and UMP Street Stocks will also be in attendance. Plus a Mechanics Race. Pit gates open at 3:00, and grandstands open at 5:00. All times are EDT.

*Note –This is the final points night for track points at Kamp Motor Speedway

Grandstands: $15- Kids 11-15:$10 - Kids 10 and under free with a paying adult

Pits: $30 - Kids 10 and under $15

Kamp Motor Speedway Cancelled Saturday September 13, 2008

Because of extreme wet conditions and more rain forecasted for this afternoon and evening, we have cancelled the scheduled racing for tonight September 13th at Kamp Motor Speedway. The Kamp 50 will be ran next Saturday September 20th. Our other classes of UMP Modified, UMP Sportsman and the UMP Street Stock will also be racing on September 20th.

Kamp Motor Speedway 9/6/08 Results

This weeks 50/50 worth $295.50 was won by Jeff Lyons of West Lebanon, Indiana. Jeff was holding winning ticket number 239506. Congratulations Jeff on your KMS win.

The “Kid’s Trophy” drawing was won by Hayden Rinker 4 of Lafayette, Indiana. Hayden chose to receive his trophy with Late Model feature winner #0 Richie Hedrick. Congratulations to both Hayden and Richie on their KMS wins.

The “Kamp Lucky 5″ was hit when #1 Jeff Houchens won the Street Stock feature but as of now no one has claimed the $100 prize. The ticket stub number is 000575 and is a pink ticket.
