Sportsman Driver Brad Hancock in Surgery

Sportsman driver #27 Brad Hancock suffered a heart attack following the Sportsman feature. I talked with his brother Dave Huff on my way home from the track and he said Brad was in surgery at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. Dave has promised to let me know how Brad is doing after surgery. As I get news I will pass it on. Our prayers are with Brad and his family.

2008 NHRA World Champion Funny car driver Cruz Pedragon was racing a Late Model at Kamp Motor Speedway this past Saturday. Cruz was practicing for the Prelude to the Dream. He did a great job racing and was very courteous to the fans and drivers at Kamp. He took time to talk and sign autographs. He talked with our grandson about Thomas the Train and posed with him for pictures.
From talking with Cruz I believe we will see more of him when time permits. He liked racing with us in part because of the qualifying.
We were excited to have him since Bob was an NHRA drag racer and K-Motion Valve Springs is a sponsor of NHRA.
