I’m a committee member of this group. I was wondering if you could post this on your web site or announce this at the track for us this weekend. We hold a one day event for these special people on August 17( Sun) at Jasper County Fairgrounds in Rensselear, IN. It is held from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
(cst). Anyone is welcome to come and help out for the day. The special people to enjoy a day made just for them ( each get a t-shirt to commemorate the day). We have a meal,music,games and face painting. We would love to see cars and drivers that race at Kamp’s. This weeks 50/50 drawing worth $367.50 was won by April Hurst of Chalmers, Indiana. April was holding winning ticket #247640. Congratulations April on your win.

The “Kid’s Trophy” drawing was won by Jordan Smith of Danville, IL. Jordan chose to receive his trophy with the Late Model feature winner #25 Dan Walden. Congratulations to both Jordan and Dan on their KMS wins.

The “Kamp Lucky 5″ was hit, but no one has yet come forward to claim it. The stub number is 001681 drawn out by Modified winner #89 Mike Spatola. It is a gray ticket stub.

I want to thank all the drivers who took the time to sign autographs on Saturday night. I hear that the kids are still talking about it. There were a lot of drivers who went above and beyond autographs. Thanks to the Modlites who donated scale cars for kids drawings. Saturday August 2nd will be Fan Appreciation/Pepsi Night. Pepsi will sponsor an additional $500 to each feature winner in all four classes at Kamp Motor Speedway (UMP Late Model, UMP Modified, UMP Sportsman and UMP Street Stock). The U.S. Modified Lites will also be there Saturday. Pit gates open at 3:00, grandstands open at 5:00, hotlaps are at 6:00 and racing at 7:00. All times are EDT.
Grandstands are $6 for adults, kids 11-15 is $3 and kids 10 and under are free with a paying adult.
